Sound Support

These notes are for the Sound Support functionality of Rhapsody Developer Release.

New Features

The default recording rate is set to 22K MuLaw. The default recording rate was 8K MuLaw.

Known Problem

• Users can experience some audio break-up (that is, the audio drops out briefly) during playbacks of long recordings. This problem occurs especially during high system loads. To work around this problem, increase system memory and reduce the recording length. Sometimes playback quality improves after the first time a recording is played.
